Agreeing to the terms and conditions

1. Open the email and review the message from the sender 

2. Select REVIEW DOCUMENT to begin the signing process. 

3. Agree to sign electronically: Review the consumer disclosure, and select the checkbox I agree to use Electronic Records and Signatures. See image below for reference:

4. Select CONTINUE to begin the signing process.

Why do I keep getting notifications, and how do I stop them?

DocuSign sends email notifications on behalf of its users. Each sender has the ability to set how often to send email reminders. 

​

Your options to stop receiving email reminders to sign:

  • Decline to sign

  • Complete signing

  • Contact the sender and ask them to Void/Cancel the document. You can reply to the email notification to contact the sender of the document.

Required fields not completed

When signing an envelope, once all required fields have been completed, the Finish button will appear. If the Finish button is not appearing, it is due to one or more incomplete required fields.
 

Quick troubleshooting steps
Use the auto navigation feature (yellow tab) to help you navigate the envelope. When the Finish button becomes active, you can complete the signing.

Downloading or printing a completed envelope

Once you have completed signing, you will be prompted to download or print your signed envelope.
 

Quick troubleshooting steps

1.Select the Review Document link in your email.


2.Locate the bar near the top of the  envelope

  • To Download: Click the icon with the down arrow. You will get the option to download as separate PDFs or combined PDFs:

         - Separate PDF: Downloads the documents in a .ZIP file and individual PDFs.
         - Combined PDF: Downloads a single PDF that includes all documents.

 

Choose where you would like to download them to your computer.

  • To Print: Click the printer icon then choose the printer that you would like to print to.

Mobile rotate to sign

When signing with the DocuSign Mobile App for iOS or Android you may be prompted to rotate your phone to draw the signature.
 

Quick troubleshooting steps


If you are unable to rotate your phone from portrait to landscape orientation, you may need to enable auto-rotation on your device.
 

Envelope is being corrected by sender

If a sender decides to make corrections, the envelope is temporarily not accessible.

 

Quick troubleshooting steps

 

  • Wait a short time and attempt to access the envelope.

  • If the envelope is still not accessible, contact the sender.

Email blocking

DocuSign email notifications may be blocked by your email server, firewall, email provider, or email client.
 

Quick troubleshooting steps

  • Check your junk mail folder.

  • Confirm your email address with the sender and ask the sender to resend.

  • Trust all emails from docusign.net.
