Practice Accountant, Part Qualified

 

 

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced, part qualified Accountant to join our practice and hit the ground running. We are looking to recruit a motivated and driven individual to aid transformation and development. The ideal candidate will be organised and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement, as we continue to advance towards a paperless, cloud-based practice.

 

Evolve Tax & Accountancy LLP was established over 14 years ago and operates from four offices across East Anglia. This full time, permanent role will primarily be based in our Fordham practice, with occasional days in our Chatteris office and visits to clients’ premises.

Reporting into our Senior Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Accounts preparation, reviewing and completing accounts

• Management accounts

• Tax returns and tax planning

• Bookkeeping on cloud based software and providing training to clients

• Keeping technically up to date

• Maintain working relationships with clients

• Assisting in the continued growth of the firm by acting for new clients

• General practice management, including liaising with our Operations Manager

 

Experience required for this role include:

• Prior experience as a Practice Accountant

• Xero and Digita experience desirable

• AAT qualified and/or ACCA/ACA part qualified

• Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Full UK driving licence
